About Us

Meet Claire Baggao

As Layline’s founder, I wanted to design truly inclusive financial and life planning services that drew from my experience in both institutional asset management and high-net-worth financial planning. As a financial planner, I met many amazing, interesting people who wanted help planning for all of life’s milestones but didn’t fit the traditional wealth management client profile. Instead of being frustrated by having to say “no”, I chose to build a business that allowed me to say “yes”.

Planning for Life’s Possibilities

Where most advisors offer “goals-based planning” I believe in “possibilities-based planning” – achieving the ability to chart your own path, in whatever direction that takes you. It’s good to have goals and know what you want out of life. But life is messy, and goals can change. Whatever plan you do have, it needs to be nimble enough to handle life’s curve balls.

There is nothing wrong with the traditional fee-based asset management model, though it may not be right for everyone. Especially those individuals and families who do not meet high minimums or who want to have greater control over how their assets are managed. This is especially true for people in the technology or financial industries. With deep knowledge in cross-border financial planning, I am well equipped to help professionals and retirees living abroad navigate retirement programs, employer benefits, education systems, equity compensation, taxes, insurance, banking, lending, and more.

Let’s build your plan together

Real financial plans are not static or inflexible documents. They grow and change as life provides us with wonderful and challenging surprises. Rather than worry about the unknown, my clients can embrace it. That’s when it becomes more than a financial plan. It’s a life plan.
